This is a small, welcoming hotel offering luxurious holiday accommodation in one of the prettiest parts of Tuscany. You can enjoy the panoramic views over breakfast on the veranda, take a refreshment at the bar, or dine at our excellent restaurant — either a la carte or sampling a range of our local recipes, which make use of the best Tuscany products. There is a wide, carefully selected wine list, concentrating of course on the excellent wines of Tuscany. Supplied with magnetic keys, guests have excellent freedom of movement, and there is very good access for the handicapped, both inside and outside the hotel.

The 7 bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, and furnished with all modern conveniences, including satellite TV, fridge and phone. There is also internet access in the lobby of the hotel. Most of the rooms have marvellous views over the Valdichiana and Lake Trasimeno, the others look out over an enclosed, furnished garden area -perfect for reading or a relaxing cup of tea with local biscuits and delicacies. The Corys Hotel has also two apartments, with panoramic sight, equips you of all the comfort.

Near the boundary between Tuscany and Umbria, at just 1km from the old centre of Cortona with its excellent restaurants and shops, museums, churches and a Medici fortress. There are excellent road links to the Tuscan cities of Arezzo (28km), Siena (78km) and Florence (90km); and the wine lands of Chianti, Montepulciano and Montalcino. Perugia (55km) is a 'must see' and Lake Trasimeno, just inside Umbria a short distance to the south, offers boating, fishing and water sports. If you want to avoid the roads, there is a railway station just 5km away.
